Toddler Art and Sensory Stations will make it’s offical debut at the East branch on Tuesday, June 10 @ 11:00 a.m.
We had a “Surprise” test program at the Countryside branch recently, and it went very well.
What is Toddler Art and Sensory Stations?
A monthly art program for toddlers 15 to 36 months with their adult caregivers. Toddlers will have fun practicing their fine motor skills and experience different sensory stimulations by creating art.
Your child will love this program if they Like:
- Musical Instruments
- Touching anything and everything
Caregivers and their toddler used contact paper and cut up tissue paper to create Heart SunCatchers For Mother’s Day. These would be fun to make at home. The toddlers had fun putting the tissue paper squares onto the sticky contact paper, For more fine motor practice, try having them rip the paper squares themselves.
Next, we had different sensory stations around the room for toddlers to explore with their parents.
- Mess free finger painting
- Pom Pom Drop
- Lacing (using colanders and pipe cleaners)
- and many more
